Specification & application

ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) co-extruded wall cladding is gaining traction due to its superior weather resistance, UV stability, and eco-friendly composition. Unlike traditional materials such as wood or PVC, ASA panels maintain color integrity and structural performance over decades, reducing lifecycle costs.

UV resistance (≥5,000 hours), water absorption (<0.5%), impact strength (>10 J), and thermal expansion coefficient within ±1 mm/m. These ensure longevity and structural integrity.

ASA cladding requires minimal maintenance—cleaning once every 2–3 years with mild detergent and water. No painting or sealing is needed.

Advantage

1. Material:
The surface material is made using ASA co-extrusion technology. ASA is a physically optimized high-performance engineering plastic with excellent weather resistance, heat resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance, widely used in construction, home furnishing, automotive, and electronics industries. It better resists the erosion of ultraviolet rays, wind, rain, and high and low temperatures, and is not prone to aging or discoloration, making it the most durable wood-plastic composite decorative product currently available that can withstand the challenges of complex outdoor environments.

The core material is high-density PVC wood-plastic composite. Traditional PVC wood-plastic composites have a density of around 0.8, while the new ASA wood-plastic composite outdoor product has a density of around 1.0, further improving product stability.

2. Advantages over traditional outdoor wood-plastic composite products:
Lightweight (taking a 200mm outdoor grille as an example, it weighs only 1650 grams per meter, about 55% of traditional outdoor wood-plastic composite products of the same size and specifications; filling a 40-foot container weighs only 20 tons, significantly reducing transportation costs); Easy to install (stronger nail holding power than traditional outdoor wood-plastic composite products, allowing for direct nailing and easy penetration with nail guns); High toughness (does not chip or crack when nailed); Will not mold in humid environments.
